Love entered in my heart one day
completely unexpected,
it wore the mask of friendship,
and I never once suspected.

It crept unnoticed through the shadows
while distracting me with laughter
and prepared itself a home in me,
I would not recognize ‘til after.

But when it felt the time had come
to make itself be known to me,
it awakened me with kisses 
placed so soft and tenderly.

Then my eyes were opened
and I knew without a doubt,
that Love had entered in my heart
and I would not send it out!
