The sounds
Of wind whispering through the trees,
The laughter of children at play,
Your soft whimper against my ear.

The sights
Of sunsets on the lake,
Lightning painting cracks on ebony skies,
Your beauty reflected in my eyes.
 
The scents
Of fresh baked apple pie,
A winter morning in the woods,
Holding you in the waning hours.

The touch
Of the morning dew on roses,
The warm sun on my face,
The softness of your hand in mine.

The taste
Of a chocolate fudge sundae,
Melted butter on fresh baked bread,
My lips tenderly pressed to yours.
 
The Love,
Of having you in my life —
Every moment spent with you
