Tide's Temptation
Whisper your name into the wind;
Reach for me in the swell
Of the tides
That play this city allegro by day
And andante by night,
Never completely resting;
An aria that ebbs and flows
With the beat of lovers’ hearts
Building to a crescendo
Con moto
Con fuoco
Con passione
And easing toward the cadenza
Affetruoso
Con brio
Adagio
Gliding through the night
Repeated dal segno
To the pull of the moon,
A concerto duetto
Con amore
