A Thousand Wishes

  
 I wish a thousand wishes 
upon a thousand stars
that I could be there with you 
laying in your arms

But knowing that we’re going 
to be dreaming of each other
can make the nights less lonely
while we’re missing one another

You’ll always be my first thought
in the mornings when I wake
and every night before I sleep,
my last thought that I make.

So, you see, you’re with me always
in every thing I do
and I just can’t imagine
a life not loving you
