Don’t put me on a pedestal
I’m far from perfect.
I have faults just like everyone else
and sometimes 
I don’t even like myself —
but you bring out the best in me.

So please don’t put me on a pedestal —

Unless it’s the same pedestal 
where I’ve put you—

Then we’ll be there together.
