Parchment
Lay with me
awash in liquid moonbeams,
slide your hand along my edges,
let your fingers learn my need,
find it written there in braille
upon the waiting contours
of my skin.
Glide along beside me
in the whispers of our dreams,
read my want
within the beating of my heart;
paint soft kisses
in long trails against my throat
and bathe me in the tingle
of your breath.
Let me taste our love
upon your lips,
sip the essence of our lust
with my tongue
and drink from you the fire
that ignites my very core.
Hold me
within the vast horizons
that beckon from your eyes
and slide
into the depths of me,
as I wrap you in forevers
and we ride the crests of waves
that pause time
on the tips of eyelashes
and save it
written in heart breaths
on the parchment of my soul
