Never

Never is a long time
and time is a relative thing
where hours can feel like mere seconds
and seconds can drag on forever,
where some things can happen 
in the blink of an eye
and others — never.

And I don’t know 
if I could handle seeing you 
never

Just being with you, 
being on the same plane 
at the same moment of time in the universe; 
in all the billions of stars 
and trillions of years, just you and I
becoming one in our own 
moments of time. 

And after you go
I’ll stop missing you 
never

How many times 
can you make me fall in Love with you?
Every one builds upon the next 
and just when I feel this Love 
is the most a person can possibly Love 
you up the ante again

And I want you to know
that I’ll stop Loving you 
never
