What Love Feels Like

How do you know 
what Love feels like?

Love feels like the way I feel 
when I think about you, 
the way I feel when I see you, 
the way I feel when you hold me. 

Love feels like a warm blanket 
in a cold winter storm, 
a cool drink of water 
on a sweltering hot day, 
the first breath of air 
after coming up from under water ... 
all wrapped into one. 

Love feels like peace, 
and comfort, 
and just what naturally feels right 
and perfect in the world. 
 
I know what Love feels like 
because I've felt it 
with you.
