Have you Heard The Whispers?
Not the faint hush of a voice
quietly escaping on a breath,
floating languidly
like ribbons through the still air,
No, have you heard the whispers
of eyes in silent expression,
as untold thoughts are passed
from one to another;
The whispers of fingers
telling voiceless stories
in delicate trails along soft skin,
and the whispered tremor in return;
The wordless whispers of heartbeats
that ride the waves of gentle breezes,
reaching forth like tendrils
to wrap around the soul.
