To My Friend


We’ve seen each others faces,
heard each others voice
we’ve shared so much together
but we’ve never ever met
and tho’ you live so far away
we always have so much to say.

We’re happy when the other’s happy
worry when they’re down.
We know each other’s fears and joys
Encourage and advise.
So much alike in many ways
seems like I’ve known you all my days.

We talk, we tease, we tell some jokes,
we laugh both at and with each other!
but when all is said, and all is done,
we always part with smiles
‘cause when each day is at it’s end,
I’m always glad to call you friend.
