Can You Feel Me?
I am a whisper carried through the trees
gliding softly in the moonlight
riding gently on the breeze
on its silent mid night flight
can you feel me moving closer?
Dipping under low grown bows
sending quivers through the leaves;
soaring high up to the clouds
gliding slowly as it weaves.
can you feel the shiver of my anticipation?
Dancing o’er the sequined sky
playing ring around the moon
tickling stars while sweeping by
with promises to be there soon
can you feel me?
Floating on a downward zephyr
beckoning the rising sun,
dancing like a downy feather;
painting on the horizon,
can you feel the heat?
Pirouetting on the lake
As the coral feeds the sky
Surfing with the gentle wake
Reaching upwards as I fly
can you touch the sky?
Sliding in to shore with ease
I see you waiting there for me.
I am the whisper in the breeze
Wrapping ‘round you tenderly
can you feel me?
