Come With Me

Come with me,
I’m going on a journey
to the stars and back
and it just wouldn’t be the same
without you.

We’ll catch a ride
on a midnight breeze,
like stones
skipping across the universe
and before you know it
we’ll be there.

Take my hand,
we'll dance a lovers’ waltz
and be King and Queen
like Cepheus and Cassiopeia.
I’ll place the Northern Crown
upon your head
and you’ll steal one of Saturn’s rings
just for me

Come with me,
I’ll dip the little dipper
into the Milky Way
and hold it to your lips
for you to sip the sweet nectar
then you'll lick the froth from my fingertips
before we run away to hide
and steal kisses
behind the moon.

We’ll carve our names
into the night sky
and leave them as a souvenir
hanging from a Dragon’s tail
 as the Seven Sisters sing
our Love song.
