Come, Let’s Dance
Come, let's dance atop the Northern Lights
like cats on piano keys, then jump
from star to star like stepping stones
across the vast unknown.
Lets sail upon a cloud that travels
‘round the world, then come to rest
atop majestic mountain peaks, and slide
like children down the snowy slopes.
We’ll swim the glacial streams and bask
upon their grassy shores, in meadows
lush with green and splashed
with brightly coloured flowers.
There we’ll close our eyes and listen
as enchanting melodies
of birdsong fill the air, and lift us
to float across the land.
Hold my hand and feel the wind
blow in our faces, as we soar
with the osprey and the hawk,
flying free.
Then relive it all again, and more,
in tender touching fingers
and lips that share sweet kisses
laced with Love.
