Morning Shower

Your words flow through my thoughts,
Warm, like the water that trickles over my face,

I need to look at your soul
through your eyes

I close my eyes
To feel the voice of your heart

I want to make Love with you
But I need to hold you
… I need to kiss you

Your words roll along my neck
and trace soft lines
over the flesh of my breasts,

I wouldn’t be complete
Or be the person I am without you
You are the fabric of my soul
And the glue that makes me ‘me’

Spreading their warmth through my chest,
Wrapping me, whole,
In the depth of tender syllables

I wouldn’t be me without you
It would be like trying to bake bread
Without flour

Enveloping me, caressing me,
And defining me ...

I need you … you are my life
