Hobbes to my Calvin You're the Hobbes to my Calvin my constant companion trudging through the mire of life hand in hand or sailing through the snow on a toboggan for two without a care where we land. You are there when I wake and there when I sleep, chasing the monsters under my bed, talking me through my fears, frolicking in my dreams, showing me life is worth laughing at and brushing away my tears. You are the Hobbes to my Calvin; always with me; always my best friend holding me near, you're never far away even though no on else can see you to me you're always right here. september 2007 Janet Reid
