Blue Moon Once in a blue moon the earth realigns when a soul rides in on a gentle spring breeze to chance upon a heart that harbours long lost memories of always and forever born in the haze before time was created and simmered over centuries of aching separation. And when it does, two hearts become whole in the melding of a reunited soul, and time and place means nothing, only that the Universe has been set right and the stars shine a little brighter. And I will ride the wind past the North Star, slide down the Little Dipper with my bucket of paint and paint the moon blue to commemorate the day the earth realigned for me and you. september 2005 Janet Reid
