or so you want me to remember. 
I may have had green grass 
in the middle of November, 
it is a fact that you have seen, 
but as I look outside my window 
April here is still hiding 
under several feet of snow! 

So now, what's that you're telling me... 
it's raining there you say? 
It just means that your golf course 
will be too wet for you to play! 
And did you say you're planting 
spring bulbs to bloom in May? 
Well I can still go skiing! 
So now what do you say? 

So go ahead, enjoy your spring 
ahead of me, but I don't mind. 
Mine will come eventually, 
and when it does I know you'll find 
that you are into summer then 
and you'll find another joke 
but that's what makes this friendship 
... all the fun you love to poke!
