All Hallows' Dreams
All Hallows’ Eve
And she haunts his mind
Whispering Do you remember me?
Through his dreams
Reaching for him from someplace
He has never seen
She floats among the curtains
That billow at his window
And her face is etched upon the wall
By moonlight,
He can see her eyes aglow
When lightning strikes
She lies with him
In the hours beyond midnight
Her hand against his heart
Counting beats,
The scent of her alive
In the darkness
She has followed him
Through eons, ethereal,
Her Love, a binding force
That will not shake her,
And with every new beginning
She finds him
And watches over him
All Hallows’ Eve,
And she sings him soft lullabies
To the tune of long ago
And though his eyes may not see her
His heart remembers
And his soul
Once again becomes whole
