Winter Morning Haiku


Morning awakens,
Earth is blanketed in white,
Night's gift of fresh snow

Snow slowly drifting,
Branches painted by Jack Frost,
The world draped in lace

Lace and white velvet,
Diamonds and pearls all around —
Winter’s wonderland
