The Winds of Change

The winds of change are blowin'
Soon they'll be taking you away,
We're sad to see that you are goin',
And we sure wish you could stay

The road was often cold
In the wee hours before dawn;
The path you travelled, often lonely,
Weary, and long,

You covered countless miles,
Over these highways and byways;
Spent countless hours on the road,
Just to pass this way

When your path no longer led you here
Still we knew you were always there,
Don't think it went unnoticed,
You gave more than your share

But like every chapter of every book
There must always be an end
So as you turn the final page
These wishes we extend —

As the sun sets on your time with us
And your path takes you away,
May blue skies ever greet you
Wherever your hat may lay.
