  Sorry

  Sorry drips like liquid rust
  along white-washed walls
  and creeps into the cracks
  to leave an ugly stain.

  Forgive me slides like smoke
  beneath the bathroom door
  and curls around the room
like a lion on the hunt.

I love you tastes like bitter wine
  that burns going down
  and leaves a gaping hole
  in an aching soul.

  Words that glide like snakes
  while pretending to caress
  with seductive ease,
  before they squeeze.
