This Moment In Time Far on the horizon a drop of molten gold boiled above the clouds to bathe the top of the world with gilded light, revealing diamonds laid out upon a bed of velvet white. Wrapped in frothy waves of eiderdown the earth peeked through to view this splendour, reaching upwards as if to grasp the falling breaths of climbers caught in awe where beauty bears no definition beyond the exhaled sighs of wordless wonder. And the only sound was the beating of spellbound hearts as they lingered frozen in this moment in time as magic slowly trickled through the sky. october 2005 ŠJanet Reid |
