The Joys of Christmas

Forest draped with snow
Armed with saw and artist’s eye
Pick the perfect tree

Child’s heart filled with awe
Tree with lights and angel top
Lighting up the dark

Softly voices sing
Carols ring through falling snow
Filling hearts with cheer

Loved ones from afar
‘Round the table share the feast
Family gathered close

Giving gifts of heart
Sparking light in little eyes
Time for children’s joy.
