Inspiration 

She whispers,
silent murmurings 
of inspiration,
perched upon my shoulder
with an enchanting crystal glow.

She carries with her
starlight,
in fragile wisps of gossamer
that lift her dainty form into the air;
and moonbeams,
braided through her hair.

And with the slightest brush
of wings against my cheek
she lays a seed,
and breathes
so it will grow.
