For The Love of The Game

Oh I am so tired! 
I simply can't get out of bed. 
Please don't make me wake up; 
just let me rest my head. 
My eyes don't want to open, 
in fact, I feel half dead! 
I'll just sleep a little longer... 
Wait! What's that you said? 
The sun is brightly shining? 
Good weather up ahead? 
The greens are good and dry? 
No day to stay in bed! 
Time to get my clubs out... 
I'm off to golf instead! 

Work has been so hectic; 
it drives me 'round the bend. 
My desk if overflowing 
and there's letters there to send. 
I've double booked appointments; 
too many meetings to attend! 
But wait!....did I hear "tee time"? 
This work day is at an end! 
Call up all my customers; 
say I've got no time to spend. 
My clubs are in the car; 
does someone have some tees to lend? 
There's no problems here at work 
a day of golf won't quickly mend!
