The Cycle Begins Again

The slow trickle of Spring 
begins to spread,
painting freshness across the earth. 
White gradually fades
and brown slides almost unnoticeably
into fledgling greens
until all the vibrant hues of the rainbow
blanket the land.

New life emerges
as birds parade their little balls of fluff
and inquisitive baby animals 
begin to venture further from their homes.
Life looks fresh and new again
as the earth takes on the aura
of this newly painted masterpiece 
displayed proudly before us.
