If Cats Could Fly

If cats could fly up to the trees and mingle with the honeybees they’d have no need to use their claws to climb, they’d keep them in their paws but spread their wings instead, with glee. The birds would watch their backs, you see in case, from flying cats, to flee, to stay away from those cat jaws, if cats could fly. Just think how odd that it would be to see cats fly in groups of three, while other cats gave them applause. If I saw that, I’d think there was no stranger sight, don’t you agree — if cats could fly? november 2004
