Blustery Night

The wind was blowing north, north east
howling through the trees in the night,
a night not fit for man or beast.
The wind was blowing north, north east
tearing off twigs to have a feast
whistling, swooping, causing great fright.
The wind was blowing north, north east
howling through the trees in the night.
