What Is Love

What is love?
How can I answer?

The Four Winds bring
sweet smiles in the night,
recalling old memories -

There in the hush of the wood
where I offered my heart
in the gloaming -

Across the high hills and the sea
where I danced behind a waterfall
to the echoes of pleasant streams

With every shift of every wind
memories come -
from wonder and desire
sweet moans, dovelike sighs,
pleasure made

And 'tis summer again,
-come kiss me, Sweet and tender,
with love fourfold

Then, quite simply
all that I could say
is Love
brings forth songs
of my soul
