The Centos The cento is basicly a patchwork poem created completly by using lines from different authors. This form has been around since the 2nd century or so and was used by scholarly monks and versions of the form have been used by T.S. elliot in the eccologues and Ezra Pound in the Canto's. Though it is not thought that any prominent poetry has been written in the pure style of the form since the 15th century.
